You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

Magoosh gave many strategies/tips on verbal and AWA that I managed to learn in a two-day prep. Thanks to that I improved 5 points on verbal, which surprised me because I had significantly less time than expected to prepare(as mentioned above, I did a two-day prep). My new AWA score is not yet available.
I did not need to go through quantitative practice though, so I cannot say much besides keeping myself at 170.

Magoosh gave me a comprehensive set of videos to review and I used the study schedule to keep myself on track with practice problems.

Allowed me to practice in a manner similar to the actual exam.

By solving a ton of problems, and having detailed solutions to those problems, I was able to review many concepts that I had simply forgotten.

It was amazing! There were so many practice questions! And the math explanations for each question were great!

The lessons related to Issue and argument task were splendid. The English lessons were very helpful.It helped in fine tuning my strategy for final exam. The variations in mock exams and the difficulty level of questions were on par with the original.

Great study plan, flash cards, really good videos and tips to work faster, and of courses plenty of exercises!

I didn't use Magoosh as much as I should have, but I wouldn't have gotten this score if it wasn't for the verbal practice questions, the math video lessons, and the lessons that dealt with the test in general. I never thought I would improve my score so much and Magoosh was certainly an important part of that improvement.

Magoosh's dashboard was the best learning platform that I came across during GRE studies (used multiple different free and charged services). It was easy to focus only on what I needed to improve the most.

Testing-driven learning is the most effective way for me to quickly internalize concepts and methodologies. Magoosh really tightens up the test-assess-learn cycle with the nice integration of explanation videos and questions.

Helped me learn math concepts

Short and effective videos, many useful tips, additional resources (vocabulary+flashcards). Working full time, and taking care of a baby left me little time to practice so I appreciate your systematic yet flexible approach.

Videos, exercises (specially math) and video explanations for exercises

The videos were invaluable for allowing me to review and learn new quant skills. The number and variety of questions for both sections helped me create and stick to a solid schedule. I'll be using the same practice techniques next semester when I rewrite it (to get closer to perfect!).

lessons! both the math and verbal teachers are excellent. :D and also the exercises...but i realy didn't have enough time to use them as I would have liked.

To practice with exercises similar to the real test. The explanations of the exercises are really good, and the staff want to help you.

The questions were very similar to the real thing--far more than anything I've seen put out by other test prep companies. Combine that with the huge volume of questions available, and you have an invaluable source of test prep material.

When I get my score report back I will want a shirt!

As you can see from my previous score, as a non-native speaker of English, I needed help especially for the verbal section. I think I watched all lessons in the Verbal part, solved most of the questions (and as I solved them, made sure to learn the unknown words.) I also watched all Vocabulary Wednesday's of Chris on YouTube. The day before the test, I could not recall all words I attempted to learn, but most of them (70-80 %). Plus, I improved a lot in terms of the method of solving the questions by listening to lessons and question explanations, when not to look at answer choices, avoiding traps, and many else. I am especially thankful to Chris, his voice is still echoing in my head :)

Ok, it's a bit weird that I did not use Magoosh for the part I was most successful at. But honestly, because of the Turkish Math. education system, I could already confidently solve the majority of the questions. In the previous test, I didn't prepare at all and scored 166. This time, I occasionally took some practice questions from Magoosh to get a bit quicker and to get used to the math. terminology in English, because I know them better in Turkish. Then it was easy for me.

Thanks Magoosh team for everything! I am really content with my score, and now I have to focus on other parts of my grad application.

Magoosh helped me reach my goal of improving my math score by 5 points. Unlike other GRE prep approaches that I've used, Magoosh used a teaching style that helps you learn actual math skills and understand the math behind the questions. Other prep courses just teach you little "tricks" that don't really allow you to master the material fully, which of course is what the GRE actually tests. So not only do I feel good about my GRE score, I feel like I'm actually better at math!

Magoosh has really responsive consumer support, the tutorial and especially the video analysis of questions are, without doubt, the best on the market.

The questions were fantastic. Very much like what I saw in the test.
The tutorials are also very clear and concise.

The videos played to my strengths as an audio-visual learner and the text explanations filled in any gaps. The real world simulation was crucial to my success.
