You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

The Magoosh lessons and answer videos were really helpful in teaching me how to approach different types of problems. I found that going through the math practice problems and having immediate feedback in the form of an answer, a video/written explanation, and suggested lesson were extremely helpful.

I really liked that it came with the study plan. I stuck to my study planned pretty closely, with the exception of some extra math lessons that I decided to do because I was weaker in math. I think this study plans or what put you guys above and beyond the other materials I've used.

I used the Magoosh Daily 2-3 month study plan. Knowing exactly what I needed to accomplish each and every day was exceedingly helpful in studying. I never had to question whether I was studying enough or if I was going to cover everything in the correct amount of time.

The study plan recommended taking a practice test almost every Saturday leading up to the GRE. I was really glad I did this because when I actually sat to take the GRE, it just felt like another day at the office since I'd done it so many times before.

I am super grateful for Magoosh. I would not have known where to start studying, but with the study plan I was able to focus my preparation and get a great score on my first attempt. All I used to study was Magoosh, and the supplemental materials Magoosh recommended as part of the study plan.

Magoosh helped me prepare for the type of questions that would be asked as well as refreshing my memory on many math concepts.

Magoosh helped me by (1) teaching me strategies for certain types of math problems - in particular I needed help learning how to approach certain probability and counting problems and (2) providing a large pool of practice questions. When I took the GRE the first time, I had used the free ETS practice tests and did some self-study (I was mainly focused on math because I am applying to Economics PhDs). I think that the major value add of studying with Magoosh was that it made it easy to identify which type of questions I was struggling with and then to develop a strategy of approaching those types of problems.

Magoosh provided a lot of great reading and mathematical techniques that I didn't find anywhere else when I was first studying for the GRE. It helped me speed up my times on each section, which was something I was struggling with.

It helped me get in the practice I needed (I took the test 6 years ago), especially when it came to geometry. The writing videos (particularly the one on the fallacies for arguments) were also helpful
