You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

Verbal lessons were really great and real to Gre questions. I also liked the fact that that there was an experimental session in mock test. That was really helpful in building the stamina.

The math videos were helpful—especially the ones which included “shortcut” tricks.

Definitely, the lessons were insightful and the built-it exercise was immensely helpful in internalizing the concepts. The pool of problems was high quality and the adaptive+immediate feedback facitilated learning (vs. just motioning through problems). More than helping my score, Magoosh is amazing for it helped me learn - which is ultimately the goal for going to grad school.

It gave me a structured study plan for each day. It also refreshed my menory on various math concepts that I have not seen since high school.

The questions provided by magoosh are so diverse that I learnt the math part of GRE simply by solving the practice problems and reviewing the videos when I was unclear about the answers. The videos were such a great source to brush up on information you learnt before as well as just learn cool new tricks.

Helped to review math topics I had studied long ago.

The video explanations after each practice question allowed me to compare what i understood from the text and how i could improve on my problem solving ability.

Magoosh basically retaught me all of high school math in a matter of weeks, and I ended up with a score in math that I was very happy with (which as a quantitatively challenged person was no small feat).
