You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

Prepared me for the format and brushed up on some math skills

The videos were incredibly helpful in laying out exactly what I needed to know in order to do well. The concepts were explained really clearly, and I liked that the videos used questions that were very similar to real test questions. The video explanations for each question were also great - once I started watching them, I learned so much more about how to apply the concepts to the test questions.

I definitely improved my math score by watching the math video lessons The vocabulary flashcards app and vocabulary builder app was very useful for the verbal section.

I loved the huge amount of practice questions, and having the related video lessons right there when you get questions wrong was so helpful

The concepts behind problems were explained in a way that was straightforward and easy to understand. I also liked how there were so many problems to practice with video explanations on how to do these problems. It was super helpful!

I liked that the math was more algebra based rather than plugging in.

Flashcards is the best tool especially if you are a busy professional who spends a lot of time commuting.

Magoosh helped me with the harder, higher level math problems. I found it a bit difficult to use Magoosh for time pacing purposes though because the questions kept getting so progressively hard.
