You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

Practice problems!

The videos helped me wrap my head around exactly what would be tested on the GRE and gave insightful tips for being efficient while taking the test. The practice questions and practice tests were also critical to my preparation; they were very much representative of what the actual test was like! I also made use of the vocabulary flashcard apps.

Excellent math tutorials in nice short videos and review of every math question with clear explanations of how to approach the problem . Especially those which could be solved using multiple very different approaches

Realistic problems to prepare myself for all of the GRE's tricks!

The thorough video lessons and the large pool of practice questions were a huge asset in my studying and really allowed me to master the wide array of topics on the GRE. The structure and features of the website, such as noting which videos had been watched, helped to keep me accountable, and the ability to take timed practice quizzes that mirror GRE sections was wonderful. I'm certainly happy to be done with the GRE, but I'll have fond memories of my time using Magoosh, and will highly recommend it to all of my friends who intend to pursue graduate school.

Provided videos for every topic and video explanations for every question. Provided a great vocabulary app and questions that were very similar to the actual GRE. The study plans were extremely useful.

The lessons were great. The math videos helped me revise in a structured manner. The verbal section coupled with the android vocab apps were a tremendous help. Other than that, I was struggling with the AWA section until i looked at Magoosh's structured approach. Magoosh was my only source of study aside from official ETS material

The videos for the verbal section were helpful, especially the ones that warned students against the common traps in the answer choices.

The video give me basic knowledge of GRE and useful tips while solving different kinds of problems. There are many problems to practice before the test, and the explanation is good. Also, you can ask question whenever you don't understand. That helps a lot. Thank you, Magoosh.

Magoosh helped me with solving difficult problems.

A lot of the videos on the verbal section really helped me understand the questions, and develop a system to see what the test makers were asking for. This is especially true for the videos made on the answer explanations. Most of the books I read have answer explanations that leave me more confused, or simply feeling completely at a loss, as if I could have never really caught the answer even if I tried. The videos provided great explanations on not only why I got caught in common pitfalls, but how to avoid them in the future.

I did a lot of math practice problems. I also took a practice test. I found doing lots of math practice problems the best way to boost my math score.

Very convenient! Super easy to use! I tried other services, but then I took a free trial version and straight away upgraded to the full version.

I have never been confident in math. Magoosh helped me re-visit the fundamental math skills I was rusty on, some of which where skills I did not feel confident in even when I was learning them years ago. It helped me understand that many of the qualities that make me good at verbal translate over to math as well. The videos on how to solve every practice problem was a game-changer for me. The ability to practice with or without a timer, hone in on a specific type of math or question, narrow in on questions that you got wrong or flagged was so helpful once I recognized my weak spots.

I gave me a study schedule and made sure I devoted an appropriate amount of attention to GRE prep during the school year. The explanation videos for concepts and problems are some of the best parts of Magoosh, and certainly, when compared with explanations from test prep books and whatnot, are significantly more helpful.

It was great for teaching the math concepts that were the basis of many questions. I did not use Magoosh for verbal.

Huge help preparing for the math section!! I knew NOTHING before I started prepping with Magoosh!

Magoosh was a great help for me. The practice questions and exams available in Magoosh were the best replicas for the questions which came on the test day. The flash cards and build your vocabulary app were also the best and it was fun learning vocab using these apps.

I came across Magoosh while searching online for good GRE prep material. I must say going ahead with Magoosh tutorials has been an excellent decision. Magoosh helped me in every area of exam preparation- math formulas, shortcuts, vocab etc. They helped me in identifying my strengths and weaknesses( improve them), and provided ample questions
to work with. Their prompt response to queries helped me with any doubts that I had.

Magoosh was amazing, I used it every time I studied. So many help videos and resources.

Magoosh offered a wealth and breadth of different tactics to use on the GRE. Without the resources available, I'm not sure if I would have done as well as I did.

Videos were great, explanations are very thorough and the large repository of questions were essential for practice.
