You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

Magoosh made it all too easy to study! The videos are very effective (I can hear Chris' voice in my head when I'm attacking a verbal problem) and they helped me refresh a lot of what I had forgotten from my math classes. The blog articles are also very helpful.

The online resources, particularly the wide range of practice problems with helpful explanations, were key to my success. The vocab app was easy to use and helped refresh my memory on some of the more obscure words.

I followed a modified version of the daily high achiever plan, which worked really well for me. I also learned a lot from the practice problems.

The practice and model tests are really helpful.

The free vocabulary flash card apps helped me expand my vocabulary a bit. The math videos and problems helped refresh my memory of a large number of math topics. The video explanations of how to solve math problems are pretty great. The math topic videos are pretty good too.

Brush me up on math, and give me easy strategies for the verbal section. The videos on the essays were also very helpful in quick framing and approach.

Very thorough review of all the topics involved. Videos are friendlier and easier to study than books. Abundant practice questions and vocabulary. Great digital platform. The emails with tips from the Magoosh team, in addition to the study schedules are also very helpful.

The video lessons from Magoosh are excellent especially the Quantitative section. Mike has profound knowledge and explains in a cogent and simple way. The team is very supportive and understanding. I would suggest anyone to go for Magoosh without giving a second thought!

Take into consideration I graduated from high school 2005 and college 2009. I decided to take the GRE less than 2 months ago and studied exactly for one month. I actually scored better than what expected. Magoosh is AMAZING. I have already recommended it to my coworkers who are thinking of taking the GRE.

I really liked the video lessons on math topics, and the option to watch video explanations of math problems. I only used magoosh to prepare for math - I watched a few verbal videos and did not find them very enlightening (my practice scores on tests were 165-169 so I didn't spend much time preparing for verbal)

Practice problems!

The videos helped me wrap my head around exactly what would be tested on the GRE and gave insightful tips for being efficient while taking the test. The practice questions and practice tests were also critical to my preparation; they were very much representative of what the actual test was like! I also made use of the vocabulary flashcard apps.

Excellent math tutorials in nice short videos and review of every math question with clear explanations of how to approach the problem . Especially those which could be solved using multiple very different approaches

Realistic problems to prepare myself for all of the GRE's tricks!

The thorough video lessons and the large pool of practice questions were a huge asset in my studying and really allowed me to master the wide array of topics on the GRE. The structure and features of the website, such as noting which videos had been watched, helped to keep me accountable, and the ability to take timed practice quizzes that mirror GRE sections was wonderful. I'm certainly happy to be done with the GRE, but I'll have fond memories of my time using Magoosh, and will highly recommend it to all of my friends who intend to pursue graduate school.

Provided videos for every topic and video explanations for every question. Provided a great vocabulary app and questions that were very similar to the actual GRE. The study plans were extremely useful.

The lessons were great. The math videos helped me revise in a structured manner. The verbal section coupled with the android vocab apps were a tremendous help. Other than that, I was struggling with the AWA section until i looked at Magoosh's structured approach. Magoosh was my only source of study aside from official ETS material

The videos for the verbal section were helpful, especially the ones that warned students against the common traps in the answer choices.

The video give me basic knowledge of GRE and useful tips while solving different kinds of problems. There are many problems to practice before the test, and the explanation is good. Also, you can ask question whenever you don't understand. That helps a lot. Thank you, Magoosh.

A lot of the videos on the verbal section really helped me understand the questions, and develop a system to see what the test makers were asking for. This is especially true for the videos made on the answer explanations. Most of the books I read have answer explanations that leave me more confused, or simply feeling completely at a loss, as if I could have never really caught the answer even if I tried. The videos provided great explanations on not only why I got caught in common pitfalls, but how to avoid them in the future.

I did a lot of math practice problems. I also took a practice test. I found doing lots of math practice problems the best way to boost my math score.

Very convenient! Super easy to use! I tried other services, but then I took a free trial version and straight away upgraded to the full version.
