I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

It help me a lot in preparing verbal test. The exercises in Magoosh cover the most important aspects in GRE and they are challenging.

Got me up to speed in 3 months. I had not touched a quadratic equation in 15 years, but through Magoosh, my GRE score was good enough for me to get into my masters program.

The selection of Very Hard math questions was excellent and exactly what I needed to increase my familiarity and time taken per problem on the quantitative reasoning section.

It provides a lot of vocabs and math tips. Hundreds of V and Q questions are very good for practicing. Also, the exam simulation is very helpful in preparing for the real test. It reduces anxiety and make me be able to adjust my pace and manage time. Actually I used Magoosh just for two weeks and memorize only half of vocabs given but still can improve my score for 4 points. Had I had more time spending with it, say one or three months, my score would have been up more than that. Thank you very much.

The math lessons were invaluable for reviewing old concepts and understanding the most efficient approaches for many problems. The practice problems were more challenging than the actual test, which helped ease the stress of test day.

Magoosh helped me to organize my studying. Before I registered for Magoosh I was attempting to study from a big study book, but found it difficult to commit time to studying. With the videos broken down into logical and easy to understand sections I found it really simple to set aside an hour or two a night to watch the videos and practice.

Magoosh really helped in learning how to take the test. All the materials were extremely helpful and comprehensive.

I had to work a lot on my timing and the test simulators really helped me out.

The study plan was very helpful. It gave me a plan on what to do every day and it helped me keep track of specific areas I needed to improve on. The bank of practice questions with explanations was also very helpful

The flexibilty to practice exactly what I needed (math, in my case) made a huge difference. Endless math questions and practice tests, all with succinct video explanations, on an easy to use site made my studying process painless and effective.

Flashcards and vocabulary builder were super helpful, especially for a foreign student. Math lessons were of good help too, they are straight to the point.

The practice environment provides high fidelity with respect to the actual test experience. The explanations are comprehensive, clear, and give you insight into learning the common pitfalls, tricks, and essential steps to success.

I personally skipped most of the lecture videos, but did all of the practice problems and completed the Magoosh vocabulary list.

The quality of verbal problems was very good. Of all available materials this comes closest to the actual GRE. I particularly found the RC questions to be of a good standard.

By providing me with a good understanding of the test format, strategies for studying math especially, and plenty of challenging practice problems.

The math section was extremely helpful. There are small things I'd tweak for person preference reasons but overall it was great.

The magoosh flash cards helped tremendously to expand my vocabulary. What helped most were the sample problems and detailed explanations.

It helped me to think about the problems the right way, taught me the strategy behind how to approach each section, and taught me the tricks that the GRE expects you to know.
