You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

The practice environment provides high fidelity with respect to the actual test experience. The explanations are comprehensive, clear, and give you insight into learning the common pitfalls, tricks, and essential steps to success.

I personally skipped most of the lecture videos, but did all of the practice problems and completed the Magoosh vocabulary list.

The quality of verbal problems was very good. Of all available materials this comes closest to the actual GRE. I particularly found the RC questions to be of a good standard.

By providing me with a good understanding of the test format, strategies for studying math especially, and plenty of challenging practice problems.

The math section was extremely helpful. There are small things I'd tweak for person preference reasons but overall it was great.

The magoosh flash cards helped tremendously to expand my vocabulary. What helped most were the sample problems and detailed explanations.

It helped me to think about the problems the right way, taught me the strategy behind how to approach each section, and taught me the tricks that the GRE expects you to know.

Taking the GRE for the first time, I was quite apprehensive about the prospect of undertaking such a taxing test. Luckily, I stumbled upon the Magoosh product and purchased it without hesitation. It was money well spent. The design of the product acclimatized me to the tight time constraint of the test - over the course of undertaking practice sessions, I was able to develop the synapses necessary for a quick response time, as well the requisite stamina for the test.
The resources, such as the study plans, flashcards, and vocabulary builder are marvelous for prep.
Furthermore, Mike McGarry's videos and explanations are excellent for anyone looking to get reacquainted with mathematical concepts crucial for the GRE - he makes everything abundantly clear.

The authentic practice problems helped immensely. I was afraid my score wouldn't change, but I was shocked and delighted when my verbal shot up by 6 points!

Getting used to the types of questions on the GRE.

Before I started with Magoosh, my score was predicted by Magoosh and Kaplan to be base 160's in math, low-mid 150's in verbal and 4-4.5 in AWA. Thanks to Magoosh's practice questions, lessons, study plans, support and recommended outside materials (LSATs, Manhattan online tests, ETS official material) I was able to improve my score by almost 20 points, with a jump of 10+ points in Verbal alone and a 1pt bump in writing.

Video lessons were awesome, the plethora of practice problems, the video solutions to practice problems, and the reading answers if you didn't have time for the videos

Magoosh helped me a lot on difficult math problems. The verbal part is hard for me to deal with.
