I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

I mostly used the Quantitative Review videos to relearn math I had not used since high school. The explanations were much clearer than other resources I had tried, and I appreciated that the content was focused on what could actually be on the test, rather than just the concepts

It helped with some of the tricks, tips, and formula's.

Helped significantly with my math to pinpoint areas that I was struggling in.

I got 158/150 on my first practice test so Magoosh helped me learn the way the GRE works.

It kept me organized and gave me enough structure to keep me motivated and moving forward with studying.

Getting used to the types of questions on the GRE.

Before I started with Magoosh, my score was predicted by Magoosh and Kaplan to be base 160's in math, low-mid 150's in verbal and 4-4.5 in AWA. Thanks to Magoosh's practice questions, lessons, study plans, support and recommended outside materials (LSATs, Manhattan online tests, ETS official material) I was able to improve my score by almost 20 points, with a jump of 10+ points in Verbal alone and a 1pt bump in writing.

Magoosh helped me a lot on difficult math problems. The verbal part is hard for me to deal with.

Responses to questions were mostly very helpful and friendly. Lesson material was good. Practice questions were good.

Practice questions were excellent for pointing out what bits of math rules I had to brush up on before the test. The practice test was very helpful for preparing myself mentally for the long exam and learning pacing.

Just going through hundreds of practice problems was helpful. Previously I used a book, and there just weren't enough practice problems.

Well I didn't have much time to study for the GRE (about 2 weeks), I am a non-native English speaker, my English is not very good, so I hoped to have a really bad score on the verbal section, I tried practicing Magoosh verbal exercises and I found that there were lots of questions in which I didn't know the meaning of a single word from the answer choices, so I felt discouraged. Also when reading passages, I got lost quickly because sometimes there were many words or expressions in a single paragraph that I didn´t know. So I decided to try to learn some vocabulary from the Magoosh GRE flashcards, unfortunately, I could just study the meaning of the basic ones which are about 300 from the 1000 words available. When I gave the test, I found many words from those 300 that I have studied and also that the test was not as complicated as the problems in Magoosh, probably I should have customized the questions and try answering the easiest ones first because most of the ones I saw in Magoosh (I just tried practicing about 100 from the +600 available) were tagged as hard or very hard.
A 155 might seem like a very low score, but It's much more than what I expected. Whithout learning Magoosh vocabulary, probably I would have scored much less (145-150), so I really recommend those flashcards. I think that with some weeks more of practice I could have scored, at least, 160.
For the math section, on the other hand, for me the kind of questions asked in GRE tests are not very difficult, probably most of them medium to easy. So I tried to focus on this section, because I thought I didn't have much chance on the verbal section, I resolved all the problems available from Magoosh, and I think that really helped become more confident in the exam and get a 170, without it I probably would have scored, at least, 1 or 2 points less. Because there are some kind of 'tricky' questions.

I did everything with Magoosh. Honestly, I wouldnt know where to begin without Magoosh. I killed the GRE and Magoosh was the only tool I used.

Loads! It helped cement my weakness and iron out issues I had with particular subject matter. During my first GRE, I was convinced that I was done for, because many questions seemed hopelessly complicated for solving within the time given... Nonetheless I focused my attention on my weaknesses and was able to on my next GRE test raise my grades from M: 153, V: 153, W: 3.5 to M: 159, V: 158, W: 4.5. I then did it again and raised my math score up to 163, verbal up to 159, and written at 4.5!

I only studied the math material since I am applying for engineering graduate school and was told that my chances of being funded if my math score did not improve were dismal. I was hesitant to pay for Magoosh, thinking that I could just learn the material on my own from books like the xyz Pounds of GRE Practice Problems book: boy was I wrong. I have only my work ethic and Magoosh to thank for my new score! The math videos were amazingly helpful. Being able to watch at 1.5x speed was great. All of those videos were vital in getting me to focus on the right material. Trying the examples during the "pause the video and try this problem" was critically important, and it was really really nice to see them worked out but also to have Mike's narrative of "okay, so I see this problem and I think about this way, you might be tempted to think about it that other way but you'll end up doing way more work." Overall 10/10 A+ thank you thank you thank you thank you thank you so much.

Magoosh really helped me and when I mean helped me - I couldn't have done it without magoosh !! I didn't have time to watch all your video lessons :( but I did almost all the questions from quant . Your word list is awesome !! .

Magoosh correctly reflected the scores that I would get on the GRE specially on the math section .I am an engineer and am quite confident with maths but needed practice avoiding the "pitfalls" of GRE . Magoosh was perfect for that. I think If i didn't practice magoosh questions then my score would have been around 162. The extra boost was possible because of Magoosh.

English is not my first language - I dont know what I would have done without magoosh !! I think I would have gotten a score of around 149 at best . My inability to recognize most words on practice questions triggered my phobia and obsession with words. Prior to enlisting with Magoosh , I started making my own word list ( from the articles that I read and from the Manhattan questions that I attempted ) . I think I overdid it :( because even though I didn't see any new word on the GRE , I still lagged in the RC section . I should have done more RCs !!

Im satisfied with the score I have :)) couldn't have done it without you guys !! keep rocking ! Im definitely recommending Magoosh to my juniors ( I already did :)).

Got more familiar with the verbal questions. Well, actually I didn't have much time to do practice on Magoosh, since I am a full-time worker, so sadly my improvement was limited...
