You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

The Lessons are really useful and there is a great number of exercises to practice.

I knew that math would be the hardest part of the GRE for me, so I watched all of the math videos and went though the practice problems to make sure I understood. Magoosh helped me be much more confident on the math section.

The questions on Magoosh are a little bit harsher than the actual GRE test, which help me to practice better.

The video lessons are almost comprehensive and offer useful techniques for mastering the GRE. I particularly enjoyed Chris's Verbal section videos. The practice questions Magoosh has are certainly way more challenging than the standard GRE questions, but definitely prepared me well for the Quant section. I also found the flashcards extremely helpful, particularly Chris's paper flashcards.

The two ebook pdf documents are amazing! And the fact that the layout of the practice tests are exactly identical to the actual test was very helpful.

I needed something from which i could study at my own convenience. Magoosh gave me that. My high score in math is solely because of magoosh and in verbal i would have done better had i not missed some questions due to my speed.

Math exercises helped me to be more careful and be more aware of the "traps" in the test. Besides, after dealing with so many exercises in Magoosh my speed in the verbal section has been improved a lot, and I am doing far more better in TC/SE than before.

It was specially useful in recognizing and solving the tricky questions in the Quantitative part of the exam. It also helped me recognizing the most common words for the Verbal part and practice with them before the exam.

A number of ways: suggesting where to get good articles to read, recommending reputable material, calibre of practice questions, pacing and the list goes on.

I love that all the problems had video solutions, along with links to the relevant topics for further review.

I enjoyed the assortment of study options and tools, and definitely appreciated the abundance of practice questions. I'm highly disappointed with my score (considering the programs I'm interested in and the amount of studying I did), but I can't say it was due to a shortcoming on Magoosh's part. I've just never been a consistently good test-taker.

The verbal reasoning questions were really helpful. And they seems to be more difficult than the actual test.

Practice questions and videos are great. So are the flashcards.

Magoosh's practice problems gave me the practice I needed to reach my target score. The level of difficulty of the problems included in the question banks prepared me well for the actual test. I also loved both the vocabulary and math flashcards and the fact that I could use them to study on the go. I found Magoosh to be a key driver behind my success on the exam.

I took the GRE in October 2015 and started studying Magoosh in early September 2015, when I had a firm grasp on the Verbal section but did not know how to factor an algebraic equation. The practice problems and teaching methods, particularly identifying formulaic components in the lessons' practice problems, were critical to my understanding of math in a way I had never previously had.

The instructional math videos were immensely helpful for me, as someone who hasn't taken a math class in 5+ years.
