You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

I needed a lot of math practice. Although I did not end up scoring as highly on the exam as I did on practice tests, I think that all the practice problems and explanations helped me keep calm during the actual exam.

I am working full time at a software firm, that eats a lot of my daily time. Without Magoosh, my trial towards GRE would have been just a fool's errands. Extremely helpful in preparing for both the material on the test and the test itself. Provided insight and understanding to what would/would not be tested, how the test is scored, strategies for test-taking, etc.

- All the math content was very clear, well-developed, pacing was just right, with really good practice questions.
- The hundreds of questions - the practice from these was invaluable!
- The Analyze an Argument videos were great with the fallacies outlined.

Getting me back up to speed on the basics, clearly outlining the fundamental concepts underlying the problems AND showing me intelligent approaches to problem solving.

Adaptive practice was very good to tailor my training.

The note function was great. (I wish I was a bit more saavy on the notes at the beginning; I failed to utilize them as effectively as possible.)

All in all, it was very good to get me back in the game and improve my score. I had to deal with some personal crises during my principal GRE study time that took away from my efforts, or I would have been able to certainly score even higher.

It made practicing math a lot easier, more convenient, and organized.

Math questions--harder than the test and very well explained

Magoosh has a wealth of helpful resources at an affordable price. I really liked the dashboard statistics, the ability to customize timed practice sessions, and the vocabulary flashcards. Magoosh's customer service was attentive and prompt.

Thank you for the tough standards laid out by your questions. The pitfall questions are very much akin to what appears on the GRE.

Vocabulary, especially sentence completion.
I think Magoosh questions in Verbal sections are harder than in the actual test. So when I become pretty comfortable answering your questions, I feel much more confident when I'm taking the actual test.
