You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

Magoosh helped me brush on math skills I haven't practiced since I was a junior in high school. There were practical tips that I remembered on test day and plenty of advice on how to combine their resources with other sites and books. It wasn't my sole source for studying, but I used it the most. I was able to score well above the requirements for my prospective program and don't have to take it a second time! I would call that a success.

Magoosh was the key reason why I could score 325. The videos were brilliant, so were the questions. The math videos explained all the nuances of Quant questions, and the Verbal videos helped me understand the mindset of the examiner. Both of which helped me improve my score drastically. The questions were challenging too. I would also like to thank Magoosh for quickly responding back to my doubts. Hats off to Magoosh, it's simply awesome!! Keep up the work.

Well, Magoosh helped me keep calm while preparing for the exam. Their clarity in what GRE is testing and by providing possibly the closest set of questions built my confidence. While preparing I knew Im working in the right direction. That's what worked for me.

It provided quite a lot of questions and very good explanations to the questions' solutions. It was very helpful as the questions provided by Magoosh gave a good impression of how the questions on the actual test will look like.

The videos are comprehensive. They are also encouraging because you can hear the passion that the tutors have for their subjects. That was awesome!!

Their questions are similar to the GRE's and their score prediction spot on. I scored within the range that they had predicted in both the maths and verbal section.

Magoosh was the best thing about my GRE preparation. The help and support I got from Matthew, Adam and others is ineffable. The prompt help, the flash cards were the best part about Magoosh. I practiced from a couple of other sources, but Magoosh's questions were nearest to the ones I got in GRE. I'm not a person who can function on a plan. Magoosh was the reason I met my verbal goal and significantly surpassed my quantitative goal. Having dyslexia, a full-time job, and a tight budget have been a barrier to studying the GRE, which is why Magoosh has been such a blessing. Their reasonably priced, and sometimes free, products use multiple modalities allowing Magoosh to work for anyone. Their videos are engaging and make previously complex concepts seem incredibly easy. When I had a question their experts' responses were thorough and quick, even during the holiday season. They were always respectful and kind. I focused heavily on math, but the few verbal videos I watched made a difference. The quantitative section on the actual GRE was a breeze. I never thought I could increase my quantitative score by 14 points, but Magoosh changed that.

As I am personally in possession of both a laptop and smartphone, Magoosh provided me copious quantities of material constantly at my fingertips. Somewhere between these abundant resources - a bank of over a thousand practice questions, complementary videos to explain why I missed each of the said questions, vocabulary words presented with the opening of each new tap, a near exhaustive list of concept breakdowns in both verbal and written form, two phone applications for memorizing vocabulary, and a near comprehensive blog for any additional information about the test - I managed to score less poorly than I had previously predicted. It is my opinion that Magoosh is the best platform of study for anyone relatively well integrated into the digital age.

I liked having lots and lots of practice problems, the ability to group them into practice tests or custom practice sessions, and the detailed explanations of the answer for each question.

I did endless practice problems and so I will only have to take the test once :) Plus I installed the vocabulary extension on Chrome, which was great.

The questions (for both verbal and math) and the lectures (especially for math) were really helpful! and of course, the vocab builders were really useful in memorizing in a short amount of time! I'm sure my scores would have improved a lot more if I went through all the practice questions on Magoosh. I could see my scores improving as I practice more questions. The "help" services were really beneficial. The responses were insightful and detailed. Thank you, Magoosh :)

As an engineer applying to public policy programs, I was fairly confident about the quantitative section, but concerned about verbal. I ended up doing considerably better on verbal than I ever could have imagined. The quick practice and vocab flashcards were incredible resources!

Magoosh is the perfect plan for South Asian students with an academic background in mathematics. The verbal flashcard was the most helpful tool for me in my GRE preparation. The vocabularies are explained in such an amazingly catchy manner that they get etched in your brain. And then there's custom practice option with which you can increase the difficulty level of your practice as you improve. But above all, unlike local institutions, Magoosh doesn't give you a false impression of what GRE as a test is; It clearly explains you the objectives of the test and the intentions of test-makers so that you develop the right skills required to crack the test.

Generally, understanding the layout and the content of the exams; training me not to panic during the exam as well as the mental stamina needed to go through 4 hours of assessment.

Thanks to Magoosh's custom practice option, I was able to design a routine that allowed me to address my weaknesses in Verbal and Quant. The math lessons also helped a bunch in refreshing knowledge that I haven't used in years. I learn best from doing a lot of work. The endless amount of problems available on Magoosh allowed me to achieve a strong, well-rounded score.

I was able to take regular practice tests and get very familiar with the format, and practice how to take the test rather than just practice isolated questions. I built my own calendar, with the objective of studying 12-15 hours every week, and I studied with Magoosh for the tools that I could use every day to engage with the material. I progressively worked through all the video lessons, and I did a full length practice test once every 3 weeks, then every 2 weeks, 1 week, and one every day in the final days leading up to my test. Magoosh gave me a good framework and helped me figure out how and where to start. The video lessons were very good, but ultimately, having unlimited practice tests was the most important feature for me.
