I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

The best part about Magoosh is the video lessons and the video solution of each and every problem/questions present here. Video solutions of math problems helped me learn different and faster way of solving certain problems. Another highlight of the Magoosh subscription was the customized practice tests. It allows flexibility of choosing the no. of questions, time limit and most importantly the difficulty level. It really helped me get into the test taking mode and was the reason I scored a perfect 170 in maths. It provided me a very good number of practice problems of every difficulty level covering almost all types of problems one might face in the actual GRE test. Magoosh provided a good quantity of excellent quality questions, thus settling the quality vs quantity debate once and for all!

SO MUCH HELP! I re-learned specific math topics, was able to do hundreds of practice questions and take a practice exam, and learn general time-saving strategies.

Magoosh was a tremendous help. I followed the study plans diligently. I combined the 90 days advanced and 3 month Verbal focused for my test. The vocab flashcards were great. The lessons were incredibly helpful. Having the ability to do short quiz style sessions and practice for 20-30 minutes here or there was a very helpful feature. Thanks to Chris and Mike!!! I was always good in math. Still, the lessons helped me a lot in developing a strategy. Always wanting in the vocabulary part, I was running behind word lists before listening to Chris and it helped a lot. Went through the explanation part whenever I made a mistake and studied words by answering these questions which helped me understand second definitions of a common word. Practice tests helped me to get adjusted to exam environment and keep up with the pace. Thanks Magoosh!!!!

I think the most helpful part of Magoosh is it provides explanations after each question. I'm pleasant that I've bought Magoosh, it really helped me improving in answering GRE questions. After using Magoosh, I could more easily know what questions are asking. And it truly helped me improving my score.

Magoosh was basically my only GRE prep material. The first few videos gave a very clear introduction to the mechanics of the test (which helped put the subsequent practice into context!) But the most useful resource for me, by far, was Magoosh's impressive practice question bank. The ease of setting up realistic practice sessions (usually 20 questions, 30 minutes) was fantastic. I loved that it was all online - that made it very easy to study when I was traveling. The Magoosh team really puts a lot of work into their service. I really couldn't have succeeded without them.

1. The verbal questions were on par with the tough verbal standards of gre questions. So, solving verbal questions taught me how to analyse sentence completion questions in different ways.
2. The Wednesday vocab videos and flashcards definitely helped me improve my vocab.
3. Probability and counting were difficult topics for me. But Magoosh videos helped me grasp me these concepts.

Magoosh was a boon to me. The twisted sentence and seemingly intelligible passages were reduced to simplicity by Chris' explanations. Even though I had a good quants background background, Magoosh helped me tackle the toughest of the quants questions. Overall I recommend Magoosh to anyone who wants to have a good crack at the GRE.

Magoosh had several amazing videos giving clear instructions for the topics I was confused with. In english, they showed strategies for you even if you don't know the vocab. For math, it clarified material I hadn't worked with in 8-9 years. Also, as someone with serious test anxiety, the video on stress and test day were very helpful.
For only having 2 weeks to study, magoosh was a life saver!

Yes! I used solely Magoosh and earned a higher score than I thought possible!

I hadn't looked at math for years. I didn't score extremely high on the math section, but Magoosh is definitely the reason I scored as high as I did. The programs I am applying for are in the humanities so my verbal score is the most important. With a 169 on verbal I am in good shape. I learned almost all of the vocabulary cards Magoosh offers and I did about 80% of the practice problems for the verbal section.

Customized practice tests provided by Magoosh for the verbal section of GRE enabled me to assess my strengths and weaknesses. This was instrumental in helping me achieve a verbal score of over 160.

I had absolutely no idea what to expect when I began to take the GRE. I don't even remember how I cam across Magoosh. It was certainly a fortuitous union because not only was I able to quickly set up a game plan for studying, I was able to quickly muster up the material I needed. Everything was so quick and easy to find, laid out before me on a silver platter! If it is not apparent, I am extremely grateful and blessed to have been able to use this program. The questions were excellent and the lessons extremely helpful. The videos! The way every problem was broken down and worked through, that was sheer excellence! The lessons talked about all the different strategies I would need to tackle the GRE and the lessons were true to their word. I took the exam and it felt like a breeze. I remember taking breaks because I was finishing with so much time to spare. The examiner was eyeing me suspiciously, but it was well worth it. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I actually enjoyed the exam. I felt well equipped. I felt like I was watching the work I had carefully crafted over the past few months finally come together. The magoosh lessons are of very good quality . The faculty teaching the lessons are great .The content is relevant , exhaustive and covers all the topics relevant to GRE . The content is well organised and one can go through any topic of his choice at any time . The practice questions are great to get accustomed to the various GRE questions of all difficulty levels . Magoosh helped me a lot. Unlike the normal prep videos, the lessons by Mike & Chris were never boring. Every video has an important concept in it.
