You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

Their Math lessons improved my concepts and confidence in my thought process. Also they provided some good shortcut solutions to problems. Apart from that, magoosh practice questions most closely resemble the questions that ETS prepares and the video solutions that they provide make things easier.
I found digital record keeping of my incorrect and flagged questions very useful as I referred to them during my final few days of preparation. All in all I must say Magoosh is the best teacher available for those who do self studying.

The entire structure of the prep course is very student-friendly. Firstly, it costed by $99 which is very reasonably priced. Secondly, the accessibility is wide - through the website, mobile apps, etc. Fact that every practice question comes with an explanatory text/video makes it very useful in clearing our doubts then and there. The blogs and the help centers are also very interactive and responsive which is a huge plus. Overall, I'm glad I could make best use of Magoosh services and get a good score in the GRE.

I was introduced to Magoosh by a friend who tried it and found it extremely helpful. At first, I wasn't sure about paying for the service, after all, I could get a lot of material for free on the internet. However, I couldn't have been more wrong, Magoosh is unique in allowing students to neatly organize their preparation by providing all the necessary material, from the practice problems to the flashcard app, and also advice about study plans and practice.

The video lessons are very detailed and well explained. They are directed at the type of questions you may find on the actual test and they have all the tips you will need to avoid its several traps.

Without Magoosh, I certainly wouldn't have gotten such good grades. And I only had some hours at night to go through the lessons and the problems.

I recommend it to anyone who needs to improve his or her performance on the GRE.

Magoosh has been a vital study tool for me. The quant videos by Mike had some crucial tips and tricks like the units digit questions and the double matrix method which really helped me in my quant section on the actual GRE. With the amazing ebullience of Chris on the verbal videos, it was never really mundane to study the verbal and AWA section of the test. Bonus: loads of questions and accurate score prediction. Magoosh really helped me with understanding concepts and consolidated the learning through a surfeit of questions.

My initial thought is, "How did Magoosh NOT help me??" In all seriousness, Magoosh provided me with all of the information and tools I needed not only to meet my goals but to exceed them (my goal was 160 on both sections, which felt like a stretch) - talk about a HUGE surprise!! Perhaps the most valuable components Magoosh offered me were the instructional videos (I gained a lot from the specific videos following individual practice questions!), the flashcards and the study plans. Magoosh made my study process streamlined in certain ways but simultaneously flexible enough for me to individualize my studying to my own strengths and weaknesses. When I sat down to take the GRE on test day, I found myself surprised at how easy it felt after the preparation Magoosh provided. Actually, I slightly panicked at certain points in the test, thinking I must have performed poorly on earlier sections which in turn was why my later sections continued to seem 'easy' - when in all actuality, Magoosh just prepared me THAT well!! Magoosh exceeded my expectations and did not drain my bank account in the process, and I am extremely grateful for both.

The Magoosh quantitative and verbal practice questions were extremely exhaustive. They also fairly accurately reflected the difficulty of the questions on the actual GRE. If nothing else, I benefitted immensely from the practice questions and tests.

It's hard to express my appreciation to Magoosh in few words. I have graduated from university for few years and to get back to study is pretty hard, especially for the math. However, I gradually gained confidence as I moved along with the Magoosh lessons, both math and verbal sections. I completed all the lessons, which taught me little by little from the very beginning of these math concepts, so I never got overwhelmed. Aside from that, practicing every day is essential and whenever I had a question, I could watch those explanation videos or ask questions to the Magoosh Student Help. They never failed to give me prompt and detailed explanations. If I didn't show up for sometime, Magoosh team leaders would send me a warm email to remind me of the lessons and practice. Hey guys! I gave the GRE just after finishing my undergraduate studies. A month before the test, the GRE was an enigma to me. The Magoosh practice tests gave me tremendous confidence and made my target of 330+ achievable. In a span of one month, I improved my verbal score by 8 points! Really grateful to Magoosh.

Magoosh was great for helping me "re-learn" the math and get my confidence up on those sections. I also loved that the practice questions were adaptive. The flashcards were also great for learning new words,especially the "review" and "learning" modes. Repetition helped make sure I had those words down pat.

The verbal part is very helpful, as the video lectures are really detailed and the online service is of good quality.

Magoosh gave me all the tools I needed to drive my own success. The study material was comprehensive, the study plans were well constructed and they just worked great for me!! All I had to do was put in the time. My biggest obstacle before starting was that I didn't know exactly HOW to start. Moreover, I've had issues with test stress in the past and I didn't know whether even the best thought out plans would translate into success for me. However, Magoosh helped me feel so prepared that my stress level remained low throughout the majority of the exam itself and I have to say that this aspect was the most significant for me as a benefit.

Because I'm not a native English speaker, the verbal section seems rather hard to me. Magoosh helps me to improve my vocab efficiently though I did not get a decent score on verbal. Chris is very humerous. He made the study process funny and interesting.

Magoosh was the only resource I used throughout for my prep. I watched every single video on Magoosh and I loved the way there was always a stress on learning concepts, instead of blindly memorising formulae. Magoosh was enough to dispel any anxiety I would have had on test day with their amazing tips about being prepared for test day.
The additional resources are a wonderful addition! The vocabulary flashcards proved to be very effective and useful. The math flashcards were great for a relaxed review of the concepts, and I actively followed the GRE blog.
Magoosh was a great investment! The material on the writing sections was especially helpful since it gave me an insight into what was the test-makers were looking for in a good essay.

Magoosh helped me by familiarising me to the various GRE topics as well as the various tips and tricks required to do well in the GRE. The Magoosh premium plan consists of a large number of high-quality practice questions that proved to be useful for a good score.

Magoosh helped me in every way! I am confident I scored much higher than I would have without using Magoosh. It had been almost 20 years since I had taken a formal math class so I found all of the math support the most valuable. I watched every one of the math videos and most of the English ones and did a ton of practice. I used all the mobile apps to squeeze in studying wherever icould find a spare minute. I work full-time, volunteer, and have two young kids so that was essential! I am very happy with my scores!

Magoosh helped me the most in knowing what kinds of questions and content to expect and how best to go about answering them. General testing strategies. Specific content study was also very helpful, especially in the essay writing portion. Math content was helpful but ultimately too overwhelming and made me think I was going to fail the math portion, even though I'm usually quite good at math.

Explanatory videos, so many practice questions with explanation was super helpful. Honestly the whole program was amazing and I couldn't be more thrilled with how I did. I essentially studied using only Magoosh for a little over a month and I ended up getting almost a perfect score. I wish I had known about Magoosh when I was taking the SAT. I could not recommend it more, I am recommending it to all of my friends who still need to take the GRE. It is a fantastic program if you are a self-starter and have the motivation to do well. I think the biggest help I got from Magoosh is that they made studying easy for me. Getting back to books after a year was not easy at all. Their videos covered every possible concept that is covered in the test( at times even more). The thing that differentiates Magoosh from other test prep materials is definitely their strategies for the Verbal section. The videos ,flashcards, practice questions, blogs the whole experience makes prepping for the GRE less cumbersome.
Also a special mention for the Magoosh team for their prompt replies for all the doubts and mails.

The one-month study schedule was incredibly helpful in structuring my limited preparation time. I had no idea on where to start before and on how to wade through the countless official and unofficial prep materials.
