You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

Magistrate helped me stay organized by providing a study schedule that I could easily add to my Google calendar. The videos and custom practice tests were also very helpful, and much more engaging than a physical test practice book.

Magoosh’s problems are very similar in style compared to actual GRE problems. I like how it is possible to customize practice which helps target my own weakness.

Magoosh provided a centralized method of reviewing different topics prior that were a great way of remembering topics I had not covered in years. It also provided a wide array of flashcards to augment my vocabulary capacity as well as a plethora of practice problems to apply my knowledge.

It had been around 7 years since I last worried about a standardized test, and I had forgotten all about the tricks for quickly cranking through the math questions; Magoosh refreshed my skills and added a whole lot on top. In addition, having the ability to watch videos for every question was amazing for anytime I got something wrong, but also for helping me find faster methods when I got stuff right.

Practice tests were very similar to the actual test and helped me understand the things I needed to improve upon. The video lessons were great too!
