You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

Provided multiple practice questions and very helpful lessons.

I really liked the videos, the practice problems with explanations, and the practice tests. These basically had to reteach me math and were very helpful.

I did all my studying through Magoosh exclusively and only needed to take it once!

Supplementing the print materials I had bought with a human touch was invaluable to my understanding of the concepts.

The question bank was the best. The videos were really thorough and comprehensive. And the study material was similar but much harder than the test, so much so that I found the test relaxing, while I found the study materials rage inducing (in a beneficial way).

Practice tests/practice questions were great. Video lessons were well structured and super helpful, great balance of concepts and tips. Overall the platform was well laid out, I loved having the notes option in practice problems and being able to sort by "incorrect"

Magoosh made studying fun, it forced to me to learn the material, and accurately prepared me for the exam.

It helped me get back to the basics in math so that I really understood it rather than frantically trying to memorize formulas like last time- it also helped me drill the harder matn questions- i didnt really use it for verbal

Large question bank that allowed for a ton of practice. I also really enjoyed the varying difficulty questions and how you were able to break it up by medium, hard and very hard. The practice tests also really prepared me for what the timing and length of the test would be like.

Setting up a study plan, great explanations for problems and topics.

Online practice problem interface was very useful for targeting problem areas.

It broke everything down step by step and the tips and tricks were very helpful

I cannot even begin to explain how helpful Magoosh was. The videos were incredibly useful and allowed for me to get a feel for what each section of the GRE was like. And the math was particularly helpful in that it broke down every single kind of math problem one might encounter. I also found the practice problems to be very helpful. I did almost all the practice problems and even went back and re-did some of the ones that I had previously gotten incorrect. Lastly, I found the flashcards for vocab very key because my vocab going into the test was not very strong.

All of the practice problems and lessons helped soooo much! Although the math questions were challenging, they were very comparable to the real thing. Overall, I felt extremely prepared

The Quantitative review was awesome! It was great to have explanations on math concepts I haven’t thought about since high school. I also loved the practice tests.
