You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

I used Magoosh vocab app and verbal practice a lot. Great practice. Verbal is a little more difficult than actual test that makes sure you are absolutely prepared. The instruction for writing is also helpful.

With timing and just so many resources! The videos were entertaining and engaging, and there were many avenues for engagement and seeking further help and providing feedback.

The brainstorming ideas for the written section were probably the most helpful. The difficulty of the math section also prepared me well for the quant section of the actual test. Magoosh was a much more affordable and flexible option than most of the prep courses out there.

Good, concise overview of math concepts that focused on test-taking strategy.

The math lessons were supremely helpful, as we're all those hundreds of questions! I actually watched every single math lesson and did all but maybe 20 of the questions and it really prepared me for how the questions will sound, and which tricks pop up. I've always been great at math, but the logic that was taught went beyond memorizing formulas and really helped with the reasoning part of it. There's a lot of talk about how pointless standardized tests are and I'm sure there's a lot of Arts and social science students who don't understand why they have to show math skills, but your lessons and questions focused so much on the reasoning part of it that I can actually see why unis would care about the scores on some level. You helped show me meaning, and that was essential to me actually learning.

The video lessons were really helpful for review and to learn some concepts and methods that are not taught throughout the world.

Magoosh was extremely helpful as it has video explanation for every question. I was particularly weak in verbal but magoosh is helped me in learning and practice verbal, I didn't just learned for the GRE but also improved my english using magoosh.

It bumped my math understanding and speed up and taught me tricks and tips to stay calm and move quickly.

I knew the kind of questions that would be on the test! I had seen the question types and watched videos to know how the verbal passages would be shown to me. Practice tests showed me that to expect on the day of the test. I was more anxious about getting to the test center on time than I was to actually take the test!

Also, you guys are so great with customer support. I always get feedback of my questions super fast and the responses are super helpful. Couldn't ask for anything more in relation to customer support.

Magoosh was the only test prep service I used, so it taught me everything from test strategies to key concepts. The first GRE diagnostic had a score of 316, and Magoosh helped me get a 330. In fact, the Magoosh prep is so accurate, my actual score reflected my two most recent Magoosh practice tests. Other free practice tests I used online (ETS, Manhattan Prep) had far less accurate score predictions.

It's super easy to use. I can take advantage of even a 10 minute break to do practice questions.
