You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

I think the plethora of practice problems were of the most help to me.

Magoosh provided a treasure trove of practice. I drilled myself on "Very Hard" problems every day, focusing specifically on my weak points, and I memorized all of the vocab.

The large reservoir of challenging and adaptable practice questions, video lessons and practice tests were invaluable to my GRE readiness. I noticed some other test prep companies provided practice questions which were too easy, so they were not bracing enough for level of difficulty on the actual test. Magoosh provided appropriately challenging problems, coupled with individual walk-through videos for each one. This was extremely helpful. I am on a tight budget, so I was worried about getting high-quality preparation materials for the GRE. Magoosh provided me with just that, at an affordable price. I also enjoyed the vocabulary and speed-math practice app. Thank you!

It helped me get a feel of what I needed to know for the test, as well as how to pace for the long haul. It's been awhile being out of college, so the subject refreshers were nice too.

Magoosh helped me with pacing and understanding the structure of the test. I gain a clear idea of what the test was going to ask. It was fantastic!

Since I was still working full time while studying, the self-paced video lessons and video explanations for every practice question were incredibly helpful.

Though it was frustrating while I was studying, I had the perception that Magoosh's questions are of greater difficulty than the actual GRE's questions. This was also helpful in terms of feeling secure that I would do well on the test and had a good result in the end.

Loved the math videos especially to review everything that I forgot

I was sooo nervous when I decided to take the GRE's because all the quotes I was getting from institutions were extremely high. A friend recommended I purchase Magoosh and it was the best decision I've ever taken. The videos were incredibly organized and helpful!!

Enjoyed the video lessons, but I found the customizable practice tests the most effective in my study as I was able to choose which subject I wanted to be tested on, and could easily review questions I had gotten incorrect from previous attempts.

Te practice questions in math were extremely close to the kind that appear on the real test so that was extremely helpful to me and improved my quant score by a massive 8 points.

Magoosh provided a variety of problems that really helped simulate GRE math problem structure, which is where I focused my studying.

I was very rusty on math concepts, so the videos were the perfect way for me to review. I like the useful strategies given and the emphasis on knowing how the math works, when I get that context, math makes much more sense to me. I'm also surprised by how much the verbal helped, it's my natural strong suit, so I didn't think I would improve as much on verbal but the strategies given helped me to slow down and get to the meat of the questions.

Wonderful videos explaining strategy and important methodologies. Also the explanation videos for the practice questions were immensely helpful.

Just having zillions of practice problems with explanations. Ironically I grew worse at Quant its every practice test. Im going to blame that on my own psychological factors.

Helped clarify concepts in detail

I memorized common and basic words using Vocabulary flash cards. I also practiced math and verbal on Magoichi platform. It helped me learn question patterns on each section.

It gave me lots of ways to practice with all the questions available! The GRE flashcards for vocab words were also really helpful for the essay and verbal portion.

The practice exams were fantastic and a great way to get used to the format. The questions themselves were often on the harder spectrums of actual GRE questions, which made the actual exam much easier.

Helped me remember all those math problem types. Good overall coaching.
