I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

The lessons, strategies, and practice problems are all excellent tools I used in my preparation.

Gave me a lot of review on mathI know 158 is no great shakes but it would have been a lot lower without all the patient and easy-to-understand math lesson videos. They weren't fun to get through for someone who doesn't jive with math, but I know anything other than those videos would have been simultaneously more painful and less helpful. As for the verbal videosI am going to be honest and say that I didn't really learn anything in terms of content from them, and I didn't really use any of the strategy suggestions when it came to tackling questions, but the lessons were indispensable in terms of familiarizing me with the question types. I felt a lot more confident going into the exam after having used Magoosh than I would have if I hadn't. I felt, more or less, like I knew what I was doing.

Magoosh provided easy to understand explanations for quantitative concepts. The verbal practice questions also helped me boost my verbal score substantially. I liked being able to customize tests to fit my needs in verbal.

Helped me familiarize myself with the problems and also get used to do them through a computer rather than a paper-based format.

A ton of challenging, representative practice problems allowed me to practice to death and make sure I was fast and well prepared for everything on the test. The custom quiz modes were very helpful. I would not have done as well as I did without practice, practice, practice. I was extremely impressed by the sheer volume of practice problems and detailed, helpful explanations for each one. Worth every penny.

The lessons series was really helpful. The tricks for the quantitative section saved so much time I had enough time in every section to go back and go through all my answers.

Absolutely saved my skin on the Maths section, which I dropped when I was 16. I only used it for 2/3 weeks, and I'm certain I would have scored higher had I used it for longer.

Having access to information on how to approach quant and verbal questions as well as answering essay questions were all very helpful. As someone who prefers to study at his own pace, being able to go through each vide lesson at my own time was also very helpful.

After a lot of deliberation, I decided to give the exam exactly a month back. Deliberation because, I knew nothing about it. Not what the sections are, what kind of questions are asked, topics covered, and have been disconnected from math for over 5 years. Basically, the one month Magoosh did it all for me. From explaining the test, to me understanding each topic, to practice tests. I went from a 0 to a 325 in 30 days. Thank you!

Magoosh provided with an initial structure to build my study plan off of (over approximately 2.5 weeks of intense studying) and helped me identify certain problem areas I had in Math in particular. I used Magoosh in conjunction with the official ETS guide and the Princeton 5lbs problem book.

I used Magoosh mainly for the verbal section and it helped a lot. 10 scores, I couldn't believe it first. The actual test was easier for me compared the Magoosh practice tests. I strongly recommend Magoosh if you have time and are determined to improve your score.

I used other sources to improve my vocabulary. My whole time of intensive study was less than two months.

Magoosh presents a variety of questions that helped me in covering all the topics. Quant difficulty level is at par with the actual GRE. Verbal is at slightly difficult level than the actual GRE. I loved the magoosh vocabulary app. It has the most appropriate vocabulary words required for GRE. I started with 310 on magoosh mock tests and scored 325 on actual GRE.

The math lesson videos were extremely useful. I also liked the large number of practice questions and the extensive options for customizing practice quizes

Improved my math score, which is all I really needed.

Magoosh helped me immensely with improving my score in the Quantitative section,the prime reason I felt I needed to join Magoosh,and my verbal score improved as well. The practise tests were a perfect alternative for the real test, and worked as tremendous confidence boosters as well.

It prepared me and made me solve questions that I thought were much harder than those found on the actual GRE.
