You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

Magoosh gave me great study resources, practice questions and also ways to improve where I had faltered before. I initially took the test after only using magoosh to study but not doing many practice problems. After doing ALL of the practice questions I felt much more prepared.

Magoosh is the best preparation ever! I took different courses, but it is far better! I was able to understand the structure of the exam and practice a lot, improving my weak points! Your exercises are just like the excercises I got at my exam, sometimes even more difficult, but it is good, as you always have to set higher goals! Thanks to Magoosh I got high scores!

Structured my study, clearly explained strategies, identified my improvement areas

It prepared me for the format of the questions. So I could look at the question and immediately recognize the format of the answer. In the self administered ets-pre test, I achieved a 159 Quant score and a 142 Verbal for a 301. So I am guessing Magoosh helped me by 20 points.

After studying for GRE with Magoosh for 2.5 months, I was able to go from having absolutely zero knowledge about the exam to scoring in the top 10-15%. I would certainly recommend Magoosh for everyone.

Video lessons is more effective than reading text books with my limited attention span, huge question bank that simulates the real test reasonably well.

The tutorial videos on the writing sections gave me a great formula on how to succeed at writing essays. The math and verbal practice questions and tests also prepared me for what type of questions to expect on the GRE test.
