You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

You really helped me in the math part! The magoosh questions were very challenging, at times, but really taught me various new techniques that are not in other GRE-study stuff! You especially improved my ability to solve counting and integer property problems - Mike really does an awesome job explaining these questions and developing "recipes" on how to solve them in general! However, I also liked the general magoosh training videos on other stuff - all of this also really helped me. You guys are the best!

Helped me review math content

Helped me familiarize myself the kinds of problems the GRE would ask me to solve and that's half the battle. In particular, this site is wonderful for reviewing math.

Magoosh was incredibly helpful for relearning GRE math concepts. The math videos were very straightforward and clear, and the explanation videos allowed me to learn from my mistakes.

The GRE flashcards were excellent in preparing me for the Verbal Reasoning section; there were also math tricks I learned through Magoosh that made processing the Math section faster.

I would've done even worse in math if not for Mike's video lessons.

Magoosh was really helpful for the verbal section. It prepared me to sieve through the complex constructs used on the passage questions and taught me a lot of vocabulary. The latter has also been very helpful in making me understand articles from major publications without having to consult a dictionary so often.

As a veterinarian, I haven't had to think about the GRE for a while (I last took it in 2004 and the scores above are estimated from concordance tables). I really didn't want to perform worse than I had previously. I was pleasantly surprised by Magoosh. Even though I didn't have a ton of time in my residency and grad program, I actually improved on my previous scores!

I loved the large supply of practice questions. The low price for over 1000 questions was incomparable.

I've been out of school for awhile. Didn't really know what type of content to expect. Helped me identify the type of material and study effectively.

Great refresher. The videos helped a lot with different concepts and tricks for the GRE. I think I was more prepared this time, I just kind of took too long on the quant questions and ran out of time.

Magoosh helped me significantly with improving my math score, raising me from the 50th percentile to the 67th percentile. I feel that, given additional study time, Magoosh would have assisted me in scoring much higher than this. Unfortunately I did not take advantage of the program in earnest until approximately 1.5 months prior to the test, which limited my progress.

Did 30-day daily study plan, watched all videos, did 3/4 of all practice questions in this short period of time I had to prepare. It clearly paid off. I've already recommended this to friends taking the LSAT

the vocabulary app really helped me

Yes, I used it primarily to re-familiarize myself with math concepts I hadn't dealt with since high school. It was very comprehensive and helpful. The overall interface is great, too.

Review system is very convenient to review unfamiliar questions. Evaluation of practice test is quite precise and the difficulty of questions is close to real GRE test.
