You, Our Next Thriving Student?

I purchased a couple Manhattan Prep books, ETS's Official Guide, different phone apps, etc. yet I ended up using Magoosh's online application almost exclusively. I work full time and was only able to study after work and weekends. I was exhausted most nights after work before I even sat down to study... without the structure that Magoosh provides I would not have been able to be nearly as effective. I did not want to take the test more than once and my target was a 330. I scored a 331; what else can I say? Magoosh was literally a fraction of the price of the other paid resources. It has everything you need, trust me.

Magoosh helped keep me on track, at a much lower price point than other test prep systems. I followed the one-month plan, and was happy to do small pieces of prep each day. While I couldn't keep up the pace with a full-time job (as the guide warned me), I still believe Magoosh helped me a lot. I learned general strategies (number sense, not looking at the verbal answers without my own answer), a sense for timing, and most importantly, I always had a plan to follow so I couldn't second-guess myself.

It helped me improve my math score drastically! Applying to engineering programs, I needed a math score in the 90th percentile. Magoosh boosted my score into that range. The large quantity of practice problems (which were very close to the problems on the real exam) helped me reduce my time per problem and improve my knowledge of how to do each problem. The video explanations of each problem and videos of concepts tested by each problem taught me so much that several other test programs had completely ignored.

Magoosh was instrumental in improving my score. I haven't taken a math class in many years and had forgotten many things, but Magoosh was able to bring back that knowledge very quickly and effectively. The vocabulary flashcards were also a huge help. Overall, I saw a direct and substantial improvement in my practice test scores as I progressed through the Magoosh videos/flashcards.

Verbal section is quite useful. I highly recommend Magoosh vocab cards.

Magoosh helped me understand step-by-step the logic behind the math practice problems and allowed me to recognize patterns on the test itself.

The videos about the verbal section, the questions, and the explanations of the questions were really excelent and helped me a lot in getting familiar with the style of the actual GRE.

Magoosh was by far the most convenient option studying for the GRE. I'm on the go a lot, so not having to carry a bunch of books was a big positive. The video explanations on every problem were a huge asset. Furthermore, the ability to customize my practice sessions really helped me focus in on my problem areas. I was startled by the high up front cost of subscribing, but I have little doubt that much of my success can be attributed to using this service. It's awesome.

Explain basic math intuitively

Magoosh was of great help during my GRE prep! I increased my score by 11 points in about 15 days of study.
The Quantitative practice section was diverse and covered almost all of the concepts on the actual GRE.
The Verbal practice section was much more challenging than on the actual GRE. As a result, I scored much more on the GRE Verbal than on the Magoosh practice tests.

Helped me familiarize myself with math topics - I wanted a bigger boost in math than I saw but I chalk it up to just not performing so well on test day. I went from not knowing how to approach problems to having some idea where to start at least, if the problem was very difficult. I think timing was still an issue for me in that I could get to the right answer given enough time, and had I studied maybe a month or two more I probably would have gotten an amazing score. This isn't something wrong with magoosh.

it provided a clear explanations for every question, the flash cards apps helped a lot to learn vocabulary and the maths lessons were exhaustive.

The practice problems and exams were of a very similar nature to the actual exam problems, so having that experience dealing with each type of problem made it much easier on test day.

The main benefit of Magoosh was the large quantity of questions with a video explanation for each one.

Magoosh is an amazing product. Inatarted studying late, but I put in the time with Magoosh and did much better than I even hoped! The practice tests were really important, and the lesson videos were amazing, especially the "related videos" that explained General principles behind each question on the practice test, and of course the explanation videos of the questions themselves.
